Ingredients
For the Crust
2 cups graham cracker crumbs
½ cup unsalted butter, melted
¼ cup granulated sugar
For the Creamy Filling
16 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
8 oz whipped topping, thawed
For the Cherry Topping
21 oz can cherry pie filling
Optional: fresh cherries for garnish
Instructions
Prepare the Crust
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar until evenly moistened. Press firmly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Bake for 8–10 minutes, then allow the crust to cool completely.
Make the Filling
Beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy. Add the vanilla extract and mix until combined.
Gently fold in the whipped topping until the mixture is light and fluffy.
Assemble the Dessert
Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cooled graham cracker crust.
Spoon the cherry pie filling over the top and carefully spread it into an even layer.
Chill
Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, until completely set.
Slice into squares and serve chilled. Garnish with fresh cherries if desired.
